My Story

Childhood

Really fun, constantly making art and running around outside in Western Massachusetts with my siblings. Tree forts, soccer, swimming. Said I wanted to be a librarian and/or archaeologist.

Early Adolescence

Ehhh… don’t really recommend. Wore some great outfits. Mom said this contributed to me being an “outcast.” Dropped out of high school.

Teenagedom

Went to the University of Vermont and studied Linguistics. Thought I would be a writer. Wrote some manuscripts and was embarrassed by them. Reconsidered being a writer.

20s

Moved to coastal Maine and aimlessly worked high-adrenaline jobs for years. Had a lot of fun but wasn’t sure of my path. Forgot that I liked being creative.

Present

Started painting and rediscovered my creativity. Realized that visual art was a much better fit for me than writing. Fell in love with being creative again and realized it was my life’s purpose.

I live in Tenants Harbor, Maine, with my boyfriend and our two rabbits.
